Computer Graphics World
It covers new product announcements, CG news, and stories relating to the many ways that film and game makers are incorporating computer graphics into their medium

Animation Magazine
Their tag-line is “The Business, Technology & Art of Animation” This magazine is similar to CGW in the type of content covered, but a little more wide ranging. Animation Magazine is divided up into sections based on different segments of the industry. The regulars are: Frame-by-Frame (an event calendar), Gaming, Feature Film, Home Entertainment (direct-to-DVD productions), Television, Licensing, VFX, and Opportunities (information for students and job seekers trying to get into the industry

3DWorld
This magazine has been a longtime staple of the 3D animation industry. They focus on how-to articles and the technical aspects of 3D and animation. They cover all the major 3D apps, Maya, XSI, LightWave, 3DS Max, Cinema 4D, and others. Each issue also comes with a CD that generally contains software, models, or source files

HDRI 3D
HDRI 3D is the combining of resources from both Keyframe Magazine and Highend Magaine. The publisher, DMG, decided that they could better serve their customers by doing this and I think that they were right. This is a wonderful resource for the industry. HDRI 3D generally has a feature story and then dedicates the rest of it’s pages to tutorials. They cover a wide range of applications as well as tutorials.
